Flax seeds, also known as alsi, are a tiny storehouse of vital nutrients. These heart-healthy flax seeds have ample fibre, omega-3 fatty acids, antioxidants, and dietary fibre.

To derive maximum nutritional benefits, flaxseeds should be gently dry roasted in a pan for 5 minutes to soften the seed coat and make them easy to chew. They may be further crushed to a powder. Store in a glass jar and refrigerate.

Two teaspoons of these in your breakfast daily and you can be assured of a rich nutrient intake consisting of protein, fibre, magnesium, and B1.

Interestingly, when you buy toasted flax seeds from us, you are also helping the animals at the same time as all the proceeds from the sales of the products are used to support our animal clinic.
